I feel very grateful you are here and have been drawn to my work.

Growing up, as an only child, I felt incredibly blessed to have such a strong connection with my Mum & Dad. I was their world and honestly, they were mine. We were and still are the 3 best friends!

Having that bond, I always knew that I wanted to be a young Mum and craved that connection of my own, with my own family.

I was lucky enough to have found my soulmate very early in life, at the young age of just 14, we truly are high school sweethearts.

A little of our love story, we met in 2008, started dating in 2009, got engaged & welcomed our first child in 2014 when I had just turned 19, our Daughter (Bailee). We were married in 2015 at 20 and 21, welcomed our first Son (Harlex) in 2017 and after a wholesome 5 years of raising our pigeon pair, we welcomed our missing puzzle piece, and second Son (Remi) in 2023.  

I was born & raised in Warwick, South East QLD.

Discovering our love for the tropics in Far North QLD after visiting my family at Wonga Beach in 2019, we made the hard, yet exciting decision just 6 months later, to pack up our little family of 2 kids and 3 dogs and relocate to Wonga Beach ourselves. Although packing up our entire life and leaving our family and best friends was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, it's also been one of the greatest decisions we've made for our family. Our children love it up here and just thrive off the lifestyle, and we all enjoy our yearly trips back south to visit friends & fam.

Being a Mum of 3, and after almost 12 years of doing my best to capture all the memories, moments and milestones as my kids are growing up. It led me to discover my passion for Photography, and whilst pregnant with our last baby, living in the Daintree, I found it incredibly hard to find a photographer in our area to capture what was set to be our last ever maternity photos, someone to capture the timeless memories for us to hold onto forever,  and also someone a little more budget friendly that I would gladly return to each year to update those family photos.

So, for Christmas of 23, I ordered that new camera,  and I set out on my journey to start Rustic_Glow Photography and set my goal to become that exact photographer I desired. To capture those moments for all the other Mums/families just like me, and hopefully become the Photographer they want to return to each year for all those memorable milestones.

It's also shown me that it's never too late to pursue one's passion.
